The incorporation of new technologies as training methods, such virtual reality (VR), facilitates instruction when compared to traditional approaches, which have shown strong limitations in their ability engage young students who grown up the smartphone culture continuous entertainment. Moreover, not all educational centers or organizations are able incorporate specialized labs equipment for and instruction. Using VR applications, it is possible reproduce programs with a high rate similarity real programs, filling gap training. In addition, reduces unnecessary investment prevents economic losses, avoiding damage laboratory equipment. contribution this work focuses on development VR-based teaching application condition-based maintenance induction motors. novelty research relies mainly use natural interactions environment design’s optimization terms proposed topics. comprised two modules. first module focused main components motors, assembly workbenches familiarization motor components. second employs current signature analysis (MCSA) detect failures, broken rotor bars, misalignments, unbalances, gradual wear gear case teeth.
